Time: 2:00 PM - Course: Getting it Right (Reviewing the Basics for a Sound Literacy in Contemporary Times) - This course will take a person from all of the basic of Islam needed to answer the three questions he will be asked after death: Who is your Lord? What is your faith? Who came to teach your faith?” Designed for all, this class will help a person develop the confidence needed to live Islam for today.
Time: 3:15 PM - Course: Living the Sīra - The Prophet’s life is often taught as a third person narrative. This class will not only provide the information needed to know the Prophet’s life, but it will engage the audience by asking them to discuss and reflect on it, directing it to their daily activities.
Time: 4:20 PM - Course: The Foundations of Character and Love - This course covers a short poem written by the 4th century Afghān scholar, al-Busti. It lays out the proper constructions for building a life that is horizontal and vertical; a relationship with faith and the environment. In an age where good and evil are confused, this course helps windex blurred hearts and minds, empowering people to live a balance life dedicated to Allah and the service others.
